National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
The mission of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is to generate and disseminate fundamental knowledge about the effects of alcohol on health and well-being, and apply that knowledge to improve diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of alcohol-related problems, including alcohol use disorders, across the lifespan.
NIAAA produces a wide-range of evidence-based materials appropriate for both the public and professionals on topics related to alcohol use and treatment. NIAAA’s resources are reproducible and free of charge. Find more information on NIAAA, its programs, and resources at www.niaaa.nih.gov.
