North Country HealthCare is transforming healthcare for rural Arizonans as a primary care, federally qualified teaching health center. We bring more than 30 years of experience in practicing integrative care in an innovative culture. This approach allows us to reach and treat some of the most vulnerable rural populations in the United States. We have clinics in 12 communities throughout the northern half of Arizona.
We drive key quality and cost outcomes that create value for patients, providers, and the overall health system. By fostering strong provider-patient-staff relationships, we can practice medicine the way it should be practiced.
The Colorado Plateau Center for Health Professions (CPCHP), formerly known as the Northern Arizona Area Health Education Center (NAHEC), exists to improve the health of rural and underserved communities in northern Arizona by building, training and strengthening the health workforce.
With over 30 years of experience and a deep understanding of the challenges our local communities face, CPCHP tackles the shortage of healthcare professionals by creating a supportive health career pathway for youth, training healthcare students and residents in the communities where they are needed most, and empowering practicing providers to make a difference in their patients’ lives.
CPCHP is a division of North Country HealthCare, the premier Teaching Health Center in northern Arizona.
