National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA)

The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) is a non-profit association representing 50,000 licensed Hispanic Physicians across the United States with the mission to empower Hispanic physicians and other healthcare professionals to improve the health of the Hispanic population.

The National Hispanic Medical Association has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since 2015 to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS in the Latino community through social media campaigns and in-person events. Through campaigns such asĀ Let's Stop HIV Together, NHMA has been able to educate their followers and network on the importance of HIV screening, prevention, and care.
