Idaho State University Family Medicine Residency
A Heart for Rural Family Medicine
Thank you for taking the time to explore our rural residency! We are proud of the programs we have developed since our inception in 1992. We have been preparing physicians for rural medicine in a unique setting with broad training in an ever-changing medical field for the past 33 years.
With compassion and an embracing approach, our graduates are extraordinarily prepared to provide comprehensive, full-scope care and to serve communities in rural, underserved, and frontier areas.
The residency at ISU will provide a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and competence to create the future practice you are striving toward.
