American Board of Physician Specialties
The American Board of Physician Specialties® (ABPS) is one of the three most prominent nationally recognized multi-specialty certifying entities in the United States. The Member Boards of the ABPS offer specialty certification examinations for qualified allopathic (MD.) and osteopathic (DO) physicians. Oversight of the ABPS is governed by the board of directors and chief executive officer, who help make sure that eligibility requirements and testing standards are stringent.
