University of Wyoming Thermopolis Rural Training Track
We are an innovative program located in a truly rural environment set to immerse and train residents in a full spectrum family medicine experience. Our residents spend their robust 1st year at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency in Casper, WY and their 2nd and 3rd year working with a tight knit medical team in the beautiful frontier community of Thermopolis, WY. Our goal is to train residents to be highly skilled Family Physicians in frontier or underserved communities that are confident and competent in all clinical settings from the clinic to the emergency department to surgical obstetrics and beyond!
