For over 50 years, our program has trained high-achieving family medicine physicians in a variety of settings with diverse populations. Our Family Medicine Clinic is the focal point of the residency program where you will have opportunities to work with patients in all walks of life including our maternal-child clinics two afternoons each week for our Spanish-speaking Latino immigrant families and others without health insurance. Additional rotations will be completed at UnityPoint Health hospitals including a dedicated pediatric center, a Level 1 Trauma Center and the home to Iowa’s largest birthing center.
