Stanford Health Care-O'Connor Family Medicine
The Stanford-O'Connor Family Medicine Residency Program is an academically rigorous, innovative, community-based FM program with a focus on resident wellness and a mission to care for the underserved of San Jose since 1977. Our program offers strong OB and behavioral science training, a sports medicine fellowship, and enrichment pathways in Faculty Development (OSLER), POCUS, Advanced Maternity Care, and Integrative Medicine. Our residents are poised to practice full-spectrum family medicine in a community-based county hospital, benefit from Stanford's educational resources, and care for a culturally diverse and underserved population in our FQHC clinic.
Our faculty have interests that span the breadth of Family Medicine, including international health, obstetrics, mental health, LGBTQ health, geriatrics, integrative medicine, pain management, practice management, women's health, academic medicine, HIV/AIDS, and sports medicine.
Our Bay Area location makes it easy for residents to sample the culinary diversity of San Jose, explore the cityscapes of San Francisco, roam the beaches of Santa Cruz, and savor the fruits of Napa and neighboring wine country!
