UAMS West Family Medicine Residency Program
Our full-time faculty supervise residents and provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages, frequently across generations of a family. We boast both a Level I PCMH rating and recognition for diabetes care from NCQH.
We care for inpatients at Baptist Health–Fort Smith, where we manage our own hospital services including adult inpatient medicine, ICU, obstetrics, nursery, NICU, and inpatient pediatrics. Our emergency department is staffed by independent board-certified family and emergency medicine physicians who provide guidance and instruction to our residents in one of the busiest ERs in the state.
