The University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency Program offers the best of both worlds by combining community-based family practice settings with University-based specialty training. Each resident provides holistic, comprehensive primary care in one of two continuity clinics. The resources of Michigan Medicine, a top academic health center and a nationally recognized tertiary care center, and the smaller unopposed community hospital in Chelsea, create outstanding opportunities for the depth and breadth of training needed to become an outstanding family physician.
