The Lady Dunn Health Centre is a 28 bed new build hospital with 10 acute care, 2 respite and 16 LTC beds. Our ED is low volume and generally low-acuity, supported by an NP, OH ED Peer to Peer Program, and Virtual Critical Care. Equipped with a new Sonosite POCUS, CMAC, GlideScope, and onsite lab and DI it is well-stocked and well-supported.
The Wawa Family Health Team is a vibrant community of health care providers including 7 FM rural generalists (3 full time physicians, regular coverage for 4 physician vacancies) 1 NP, 2 RNs, RSW, Registered Dietician and full clerical support
