Swedish Port Angeles Family Medicine Rural Program
The Swedish Cherry Hill Rural Training Program (RTP) is a 1+2 program, where residents have the unique opportunity to train in Seattle, WA with the core Swedish Cherry Hill FMR program for their first year, before relocating to Port Angeles, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula for the following two years to train with a rural focus. Our Mission is to provide a supportive training environment in full-spectrum, evidence-based family medicine, that develops exceptional community-centered physicians dedicated to the health and wellbeing of underserved rural populations on the Olympic Peninsula and beyond. Our Vision is healthy rural communities cared for by a network of versatile family physicians who reflect the people they serve and are dedicated to a more just, equitable and sustainable world.
