The Utah Valley Hospital Residency offers a fully accredited three-year family medicine residency program in a community hospital setting; sports medicine and fellowships; and medical student rotations in family medicine, community medicine, or primary care sports medicine.
Our program combines a suburban working environment, at the largest medical center between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, with opportunities for training specific to rural areas.
Residents in the Utah Valley Family Practice Residency are supervised by faculty of board certified family medicine physicians and specialists. The residency program is based at the Merrill Gappmayer Family Medicine Center located on Utah Valley Hospital's campus.
The Utah Valley Hospital Residency provides residents with an exciting and well-balanced approach to learning. Program emphasis in ambulatory care and provides residents the complete scope of training to prepare them for any practice style.
Our fellows learn as they work side-by-side with nationally and internationally acclaimed physicians, and year-around clinic exposure and rotations help strengthen their base of knowledge while developing valuable relationships within the community.
