Mission & Vision
Our mission is to develop exceptional family medicine physicians who are ideally suited for rural practice.
We train family medicine physicians to:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients throughout their continuum of life
- Lead multidisciplinary teams within a patient-centered care model
- Serve diverse populations in rural communities
- Embrace lifelong learning with a continual growth mindset
Training Sites
The program offers broad clinical experience in a range of clinical settings. Residents will have the opportunity to provide supervised patient care at our primary teaching hospital, Pullman Regional Hospital, and at various clinical training sites.
Visiting Student Sub-Internship Opportunities
Sub-I opportunities are offered for students interested in pursuing internal medicine in underserved communities. Sub-I rotations are available each fall and provide students with hands-on training as an active participant in the Family Medicine Residency Program.
ACGME Accreditation
The Family Medicine Residency Program – Pullman is fully accredited by the ACGME in good standing with an accreditation and recognition status of Initial Accreditation.
