Scripps Family Medicine Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in the Scripps Family Medicine Residency Program.We are a community-based training program that offers the benefits of training at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista and the advantages of close affiliations with the excellent medical education department at Scripps Mercy San Diego and the UC San Diego School of Medicine. A close affiliation with the San Ysidro Health Center, a large federally qualified community health center (FQHC) on the U.S Border with Mexico provides the opportunity to emphasize care for a diverse population and to address Border Health issues. The Scripps Family Medicine Residency Program uses a community-driven approach that emphasizes community medicine throughout the curriculum.
