MAHEC Hendersonville Rural FMRP
We are a 5-5-5 community based program and a Teaching Health Center (THC) in the mountains of Western North Carolina. At our THC, we see all people regardless of insurance status at our Federally Qualified Health Center- Blue Ridge Health. We are the only residency at Pardee Hospital, and we care for vulnerable populations in our community with our clinic seeing 50% uninsured, 50% Spanish speaking, and a growing substance use disorder need.
Our mission is "Training to Serve," where we equip residents to care for the whole person, and their whole community throught robust inpatient and OB training. Our graduates truly do it all: OB, Hospitalists, and Faculty that train the next generation. We would love to meet you and help you find your best fit.
