MDFMR is a rural, community-based Family Medicine Residency that is an unopposed ACGME-accredited program with Osteopathic Recognition. Full-spectrum family medicine preparation emphasizing care to the underserved is at the heart of our mission. MDFMR residents benefit from a strong generalist core that includes OB as well as exposure to programs in geriatrics, sports medicine, and ONMM. Unique aspects include addiction medicine, behavioral health, women’s reproductive health, integrative medicine, and dermatology; basic osteopathy for MDs; and primary care research opportunities.
