Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville/Family Medicine Residency (Seneca) is an unopposed rural family medicine residency program. We are dedicated to the training of competent, compassionate, future-oriented family medicine physicians prepared to engage in sustainable, full-spectrum, rural family medicine.
We take a fresh, new look at training family medicine physicians, infusing a healthy dose of what you will need to know to practice effectively in rural communities over the next 20+ years. This includes an emphasis on population health, team-based care, prevention and lifestyle medicine, as well as on underserved and vulnerable populations
