Bothwell Rural FMR Training Program
The Bothwell Family Medicine Residency Rural Training Track Program trains service-oriented, evidence-based family medicine physicians to provide outstanding care and leadership for rural patients and their communities. Located in Sedalia, Missouri, just an hour from Kansas City or Columbia, residents have the advantage of strong institutional and community support. First year curriculum is shared with the University of Missouri- School of Medicine FM residency in Columbia, a top-10 nationally ranked program. Faculty collaborate to provide training in surgical obstetrics and residents enjoy a busy community hospital and emergency department with intensive care unit (ICU) admissions plus training including endoscopy, ICU procedures and more.
