Valley Consortium for Medical Education (VCME) was founded in 2009 as a non-profit, community benefit organization to create and foster graduate medical education in the Central Valley of California. This novel organization is recognized as a model community partnership for medical education in that it has participation from the major health care organizations in Stanislaus County.
