Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency (CFMR), part of Atrium Health, was started in 1996 to train full scope FM physicians for our community and NC. Based in Concord just north of Charlotte, CFMR offers advanced inpatient training and real-world outpatient training. Residents function as junior partners in their home Family Practice clinic which is integrated into the surrounding community. Our Inpatient Service features newborn to end of life care and open ICUs. Strong clinical training in an academic environment enables our grads to succeed anywhere. We seek a diverse group of residents passionate about family medicine. Areas of Concentration: OB, Sports Medicine, Global Health; Fellowship: Sports Medicine
