FMR of Idaho - Nampa Program

  • Booth: 433

Our goal is to prepare you to meet the needs of rural and underserved communities. Your training will be grounded in a robust continuity clinic experience in an FQHC/PCMH, Family Medicine Health Center. The majority of our inpatient rotations are in the St. Luke’s Nampa Hospital – an 87-bed hospital in Canyon County built in 2017 to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population. In the 2nd and 3rd years, rotations are 2 weeks long. This preserves your ability to think across the spectrum of medicine and increases energy and engagement.  Continuity clinic ranges from 2-5 half days a week depending on the rotation. We also provide an embedded experience with community agencies.
