University of Minnesota/North Memorial Residency Program
We prepare residents for full-spectrum practice in rural or urban settings by combining community-focused clinical training with a high intensity, full spectrum hospital experience. It is ACGME accredited with Osteopathic Recognition. The clinic is a Certified Health Care Home that has been an anchor in the North Minneapolis community for more than 40 years. The hospital is a primary care focused tertiary center with a Level I Trauma Center. Community outreach, understanding the social determinants of health, health policy, and advocacy are integral parts of the North Memorial residency experience.
