Cox FMR is Springfield, MO's only ACGME-accredited residency program. Together with CoxHealth, our city's only locally owned, not-for-profit health system, we are preparing residents for the full scope of family medicine. Our residents gain substantial experience in ambulatory, maternity, and inpatient care, with a focus on arts and humanities, ethics, mindfulness, and wellness. Our program was established in 1987, and has grown into a 10-9-9 program (soon to be 10-10-10) with two tracks. In addition to our longstanding CoxHealth Family Medicine track, we offer a track at Jordan Valley Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center.
