At the West Kendall Baptist Hospital —Florida International University Family Medicine Residency Program, we build on the programs of excellence at Baptist Health South Florida and the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
With four residents per year, our program offers an individualized approach to preparing clinically skilled physicians who work effectively as part of larger healthcare systems. Residents receive training in the full spectrum of family medicine, including management of acute and chronic conditions in adults and children, women’s health, sports medicine, health promotion and disease prevention.
