Strenghts include:

  • Resident continuity clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center--combining both community service and excellent teaching opportunities.
  • The ability to train residents in a wide variety of venues: community clinics, county and private hospitals, private physician offices, and community agencies (DHS, schools, etc.)
  • The Family Medicine Inpatient Service (residents do more rotations than other programs and have good teaching and high volume of critical care).
  • Strong inpatient taining on our Family Medicine Inpatient Service (Including more core inpatient rotations than other area programs with full-spectrum care including critical care).  Supportive community faculty.
