The AHN Saint Vincent Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Erie, Pennsylvania was first accredited in 1976. Our institution has a rich 46 year history of educating family medicine residents. We are a community based program and our residents have access to both urban and rural practice sites for their education. The team approach is a foundational part of the educational process. Saint Vincent Hospital is a 400-bed tertiary hospital with a wide range of learning opportunities. The Erie community lies on the shores of Lake Erie and is situated near scenic Presque Isle, a Pennsylvania State Park, which has miles of beaches and outdoor opportunities.
