MedStar Franklin Square Family Medicine Residency
MedStar Franklin Square FamMed Residency/FamMed-PrevMed Residency is a member of MedStar Health in the Maryland/DC region. Georgetown University Medical School is our medical education and clinical partner. The FamMed-PrevMed program is a collaboration with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Our curriculum includes the core competencies and 6 electives. Specialty tracks include OB, geriatrics, sports medicine, rural training and preventive medicine. Rotations include musculoskeletal, ENT, ophthalmology, urology and surgery. PrevMed residents complete training in general preventive medicine that includes coursework for a MPH degree.
