HealthPartners Western Wisconsin Rural FMRP
This 1-2 rural training track provides a unique rural practice environment.The first year will be spent at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. Time at Methodist Hospital will provide high volume in-patient care, critical care for all ages, and obstetrics. The supportive learning environment and excellent faculty will prepare you for the rural medicine experience in western Wisconsin. The second and third year will be spent at Amery Hospital & Clinic and Westfields Hospital & Clinic where medical staff and faculty provide continuity care in rural western Wisconsin. Opportunities vary from a federally qualified health center to a visiting specialty provider clinic in addition to unexpected services such as geriatric psychiatry and wound care.
