The Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program is an independent community-based
program with a 50 year legacy of clinical excellence and over 300 graduates. Our 17 Faculty
and 28 Residents provide care to a diverse patient population in a community where Family
Medicine is the default primary care specialty. We developed the nation’s first four-year
residency program in Family Medicine which has become a national model. Middlesex Health
was a recipient of the 2019 Baldwin Award from the ACGME and the Gold Humanism
Foundation recognizing a teaching hospital that exemplifies humanistic and compassionate
health care.
