University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences - Pine Bluff
Our program is the only residency in our 265-bed community hospital. Family physicians supervise our Family Medical Center and our own inpatient service. Local specialists serve as consulting faculty and supervise specialty rotations. We care for patients from southeast Arkansas, a medically underserved region, including very ill elderly and patients with no regular medical care. Residents rotate through a variety of practice settings with our local hospital, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, community private practices and regional Health Departments.
