University of Colorado FMR, Morgan County Rural Training Program
We are a 3 year ACGME accredited RTT where residents spend their 1st year in Denver, CO with a class of 13. The PGY2 & PGY3 years primarily take place in Fort Morgan, the 2nd most diverse city in the state, with 3 other residents. The majority of time is spent at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a 50 bed, acute care hospital & Salud Family Health Center, an FQHC. Fort Morgan has something for everyone, including; several parks, miles of walking & bike trails and a golf course. The community is fully supportive of the residency & very welcoming. A quarterly housing stipend is also given each of the 3 years.
