Ascension Providence FMRP
We are a dual site residency located northwest of Detroit. One of our offices is attached to the Ascension Providence main hospital in Southfield, Michigan. This is our more urban site with our suburban/rural site located 25 minutes west in South Lyon, Michigan. We accept 9 residents per year. In each class, typically 3 residents see patients longitudinally at the South Lyon office and 6 residents will see patients at the Southfield office throughout their residency.
Although there are two offices, rotations are the same between both offices. Also, we have specific rotations where you have the opportunity to work at either office to get a different perspective and patient population. Also there is a sports medicine fellowship at Ascension Providence.
