PIH Health Whittier Hospital
The PIH Health-Whittier Family Medicine Residency Program was established with an emphasis in community-based teaching and offers a hybrid experience with LAC-USC Medical Center. Our mission is to provide residents with a rich, broad-based, multi-disciplinary graduate medical education built on a culturally competent foundation. We offer an exemplary model of a working collaborative healthcare team that includes hospital and ambulatory specialists, allied health providers, behavioral specialist and community partners.
Our program also offers two unqiue tracks: Chronic Disease/Palliative Care and Tropical Medicine/Global Health. Each track offers a longitudinal didactic series and special elective opportunities.
