Each day in the United States, around 10,000 babies are born. Roughly two percent, or 200, are likely to develop a peanut allergy if they aren’t introduced to peanut containing foods early and often ― as now recommended now by NIAID, AAP and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
That number could be up to 86 percent ― or 172 ― fewer...if early introduction is the standard of care and standard practice.
