The Greer Family Medicine Residency Program started in July 2020. We are a 6-6-6 program located at the Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital in Greer, SC. Our goal is to train competent, caring, community-oriented family physicians. Our program values resident education, providing excellent care for our patients, and serving our surrounding community. Our innovative curriculum ensures residents are competent in the traditional skills required by family physicians while preparing them for the future of clinical practice. Our residents participate in scholarly activity through teaching medical students, developing and implementing clinical quality improvement projects, and modeling best practices for other primary care clinics in our region.
