The CVHN is a consortium of 14 federally qualified health centers that share a common mission to provide comprehensive primary care to everyone who walks through their doors regardless of their ability to pay. Health centers are an essential part of California’s healthcare safety net. Located in & serving high need communities throughout 21 of California’s counties, CVHN members operate over 250 community health center sites throughout Northern, Central Valley, Sacramento Regions. In 2020 CVHN members provided over 3.2 million medical, dental, and behavioral health encounters to 832,000 patients of whom 69% live at/below 100% of Federal Poverty Level, 63% are Medi-Cal covered, 16% are uninsured, and 23% are migrant and seasonal farmworkers/dependents.
