Ascension St. Vincent's Family Medicine Residency Program was established in 1972 and accepts 10 residents per year for the three-year program. The residency is accredited by the Family Medicine Residency Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medial Educatin. The program has also been awarded Osteopathic Recognition accreditation by the ACGME.
The program is staffed by 15 full-time faculty doctors who are dedicated to resident education. This faculty includes family doctors with areas of special interests such as - obstetrics, practice management, geriatrics, sports medicine, nutrition as well as specialists boarded in pediatrics, clinical psychology, obstetrics and gynecology.
