Our FM residency mission is to prepare full spectrum family physicians from diverse backgrounds who are dedicated to social justice and health equity to provide family-centered, community-responsive care for rural, underserved, and vulnerable populations. We fulfill our mission by combining a tradition of excellence in education, the freedom and support to focus training to suit your goals, a 2+2 curriculum, and a robust inpatient service and outpatient practice. Our South Campus Track emphasizes rural practice and includes required rural rotations. Our Alvernon Track focuses on the Tucson community and surrounding areas. Both tracks offer integrative medicine training (required at the Alvernon track) and a Spanish/Health Disparities Track.
