The mission of The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center Family Medicine Athens residency is to train resident physicians in high quality healthcare so they can provide care for the entire family. We provide accessible and compassionate care for anyone in need, through all phases of life. We hope to make an impact on our patients' physical, mental, spiritual and social health, and well-being. We focus on preventing future diseases as well as healing current conditions.
