A community family medicine residency located at UW Medicine | Valley Medical Center, serving patients in Renton, Washington (30 min south of Seattle). The 3-year curriculum emphasizes a Clinic First model designed to maximize continuity of care, a high-volume obstetrics service with surgically-trained FM faculty, and competency in caring for our economically and culturally diverse patient population. The program has 24 residents who rotate through inpatient services and specialty clinics such as travel medicine, counseling clinic, psychiatry consultation, osteopathic manipulation, colposcopy, gynecology, and are trained in suboxone MAT. We are committed to training highly qualified family physicians for practice in urban or rural settings.
