Ventura Family Medicine Residency is a single-site, unopposed program located in coastal California. We have a 50-year tradition of excellence in preparing residents for future practice in diverse clinical settings and for caring for the underserved. We offer broad-based training in all aspects of Family Medicine including operative obstetrics, emergency medicine, trauma stabilization, palliative care, and robust inpatient medicine & ICU experiences. Our continuity clinic integrates behavioral health, addiction medicine, sports medicine, and procedures including POCUS. Residents benefit from protected didactic time & an annual all-resident retreat, work in a supportive, collegial environment & live (and surf!) in beautiful Ventura!
