Geisinger Health System has been nationally recognized for innovative practices and quality care. The 6+6+6 Kistler Family Medicine Residency accepts both osteopathic and allopathic candidates. Located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, it is only a few hour drive to the New York City and Philadelphia metro areas. As a resident, you’ll practice in a dedicated family medicine residency clinic attached to the hospital in which you admit and run an adult inpatient service. There are also plenty of teaching and research opportunities through collaboration with the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
