University of Arizona COM- Tucson Family Medicine Residency Program
We have one ACGME accredited Family Medicine program with two separate and unique tracks – The Alvernon track and the South Campus track. Both tracks offer a 2+2 curriculum, a strong and busy inpatient experience, outpatient practices with diverse and underserved populations, point-of-care ultrasound training (POCUS), dedicated refugee clinics, and the option to participate in the Health Care Disparities/Medical Spanish Distinction Track. Our South Campus track emphasizes rural practice and includes required rural rotations. Our Alvernon track focuses on the Tucson community and surrounding areas.
